Product Description

Silicon calcium type active sintered flux, basicity is about 0.8, particle size is 10~40Mesh, loose ratio: 1.2-1.25 g/cm3. Excellent welding process performance, stable arc burning, easy slag removal, beautiful weld formation. The physical characteristics of the slag are short slag, and the slag does not flow during short arc submerged arc welding, which is particularly suitable for welding various types of circumferential seams. It can be used for both AC and DC. The welding wire is connected to the positive electrode during DC welding.

Applications:
It is mainly used for welding of common steel structures and X42 and X46 grade pipeline steels. The slag has short slag characteristics and is especially suitable for circumferential seam welding.

  • Before welding, the flux must be at about 300-350 ºC(572-662ºF)Bake at room temperature for 2 hours

    Before welding, be sure to remove rust, scale, primer and other impurities on the surface of the base material to obtain excellent welding deposited metal.

    In the case of multi-layer welding, the root welding of the groove welding requires a small current and welding speed.
