SJ604 is a fluorine-alkali type high-basicity sintered flux, which is gray-white spherical
particles with a particle size of 2.0-0.45mm (10-40 mesh). This flux belongs to metallurgy and
has good welding process performance, stable arc, easy slag removal, and beautiful weld
formation. The weld metal has high purity, high low-temperature impact toughness,
resistance, and low diffuse hydrogen content in the weld metal. Uses: With appropriate
welding wire, it can weld fine-grained low-temperature steel and high-strength steel, such as
low-temperature pressure vessels, storage and oil and gas pipelines, marine engineering, etc.

Description and Applications
SJ604 is a type of F and alkali based high alkaline agglomerated fux, gray white spherical
grains in appearance. Its grain size is2.0-0.45mm (10-40 meshes). The chemical nature of
the flux is metallurgical neutral. With excellent technical properties and stablebuming arc,
$J604 provides good weld bead appearance and excelent slag removal. Additional feathers
are high purity of weld beadmetal, high impact toughness performance in low temperature
and low diffusible hydrogen content in weld bead metal.Combining with appropriate wires,
$J604 is recommended for welding fine grain low-temperature steel and high strength
steelssuch as low-temperature pressure vessels, storage tanks, oil and gas pipelines and
